3D Modelling with code.

We are grateful to Carnegie Mellon University, USA. and the rest for this marvellous gift to the world. Our pupils can now use Alice to learn some of the basic concept of working with 3D objects, such as the quad (navigation) view that shows 3D objects in four different views at the same time (i.e. both the 2D orthographic views and 3D perspective view). They also learnt the basic transformations peculiar to 3D objects like rotate, scale and move, among others. Most important, they did most of this things with i.e build 3D models and others in a programming environment. Below are the models they worked with.

Coming soon is lesson that involves making these models interact with themselves and their environments. Watch out!!!
